Mark has worked in both the private and public sector and has been a trade union representative for over 26 years. His last position was within the Fire Service for over 17 years and during that time he held various positions, at both local and national level for the Fire Brigades Union, which included equal opportunities and fairness at work committees.

Mark has been fully trained by the union on a range of subject, including employment law, Health and Safety and he has a degree in law.

Mark works for businesses as well, “poacher become game keeper” providing support and expertise, this includes carrying out disciplinary and grievance investigations, chairing appeal hearings and is a very experienced trainer, providing training for employers on a range of employment law subjects. He is also an employment law advocate representing people at employment tribunals.
