Wednesday the 5th of November is National Stress Awareness Day (NSAD) and will the the 16th to be held at venues all over the UK. in 2013/2014 it is estimated that between 11.3 million working days were lost due to stress, depression or anxiety (source: http://www.hse.gov.uk/statistics/dayslost.htm).

Employers have a duty under health and safety law to assess and take measures to control risks from work-related stress; more information relating to wrokplace well being can be found on the ACAS website including workplace best practices and tips on managing stress and ones mental health.
