Hello and welcome to this week’s news.

We start this week with the month’s employment update.(1)   The TUC welcomes the ratification of the UK violence against women treaty.(2)   We have an article calling for an end to ‘clocking-in’.(3)  

It’s impossible to address any new at the moment without referencing the horrendous violence being perpetrated against the people of Ukraine.  The TUC calls for government to protect oil workers caught in the ‘Russian lock-out’.(4)    We have some caselaw on religious discrimination in the legal sector.(5)   In another startling case an employment tribunal; has ordered a bank to conduct an equal pay audit in 6 months on top of awarding a £2 million payout.(6)
