This week we herald the twentieth anniversary of the introduction of the National Minimum Wage.  Although conceptually rooted in legislation dating back to 1909, the landmark legislation came into being in 1999 and it now seems impossible to imagine the employment landscape without it.  Scottish Legal addresses the matter in more detail.(1)
