We start this week with a look at the TUC’s Report from its Anti-Racism taskforce.(1)  Consultants have announced further strikes on the horizon following the collapse of the current round of pay negotiations.(2)  The High Court has ruled that hiring agency workers to cover roles by striking workers is unlawful.(3)  It comes as little surprise that the government has abandoned legislation that would have protected workers from harassment from 3rd parties.(4) A former factory worker is appealing to fellow workers following a diagnosis of asbestos related mesothelioma.(5) Yahoo looks at the potential difficulties employees face when trying to exert their ‘right’ to work from home.(6)

Further TUC Research looks at tackling the rise of ‘work intensification.’(7)  We complete this weeks news with a look at what the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023 will actually mean for workers, the answer is not much.(8)
