As the year rolls into May, the government will release a range of guidance publications ranging from the ACAS Guide to age discrimination, closing the gender pay gap, ‘self-employed plus’ and a guide to Employment Tribunals powers in practice.(1)   Consultation has also begun into restricting public sector exit payment sizes.(2)   Finally, Irwin Mitchell have produced an article highlighting the issues to consider when ‘covert recording’ at work.(3)
